Greers Ferry Fishing Report 2/16/2010

Greers Ferry is currently 7 feet below normal pool of 461.3 ft.  Water surface Temperatures are ranging from 44 - 48 degrees.  With the days getting longer and the water warming more anglers are visiting the lake with the great expectations of things to come.  Some shad are present in the creeks with the bulk of the bait still on the main lake.  Jerkbaits, Spoons and jigs are the main deal for most all species.  Once you get bit in an area be sure to slow down and really comb that immediate location and you will get multiple bites.  Our walleyes are on the move up stream and current will dictate there spawning locations.
