Greers Ferry Water and Fishing Report

Well, after 2 weeks of really consistent fishing we have finally hit a break in the walleye bite.  Over the weekend we experienced a totally different bite than previous weeks out.  Overall fish Numbers where still decent for the days but eye numbers where low and Saturday we did not boat a single walleye.  The bite will soon rebound in the coming days as May is my very best Walleye month overall.  With all the new water we have right now look for all species of fish to be using the new cover and structure breaks.  However, look for the best bite to be deeper on the old break lines and the old bank.  The longer the water stays in the bushes the better the shallow bite will be.  I'll keep you updated as I will be back on the lake Wed. reporting what we find!  Good Fishin'  Current water levels are being posted on my Fish Greers Ferry Facebook Page~
