Greers Ferry Fishing Report 11/08/2011

Greers Ferry is 5 feet below normal pool and clearing without any significant inflow.  Water surface temperatures are ranging from 62 - 65 degrees depending on current location and time of day.  The most active bite has still been sporadic with schooling fish, in order to be successful you must locate an active school, no matter what species.  Our fish are in tight bunches right now and you can really do well once you locate them.  Cover lot's of water and watch your electronics carefully.  My best bite has come from deep channel runs with a swing on a main lake or secondary point fishing to suspended fish in 12 - 22 fow over 45 - 70 feet with timber.  Never now what they are going to be until you boat a few out of the school, I've seen whites, crappies, LM, SM, Big KY's all in these location's.  Good Luck and Good Fishin`
